I used LionBrand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick yarn in Pumpkin and size 15 needles to get a chucky, larger lace scarf. It took about 3 hours to complete the entire project.

31 Days of Fall - Day 9 Purse Knit Scarf
When cool weather comes around I grab my knitting needles. Each year I make myself and Boo Boo a new scarf. One of my favorite stitches is the purse stitch. The purse stitch is an easy beginners lace stitch. Here's a youtube video on how to make the purse stitch.
