The garden is looking great and producing a great deal of strawberries. These are just the ones we picked the last 2 days. They are destined for our Spinach Strawberry Salad tonight.
Here is my little garden helper planting basil and tomatoes. She really likes working in the garden and gets so excited when things start to grow and produce.
We also have spinach and lettuce shooting up as well as carrots and green onions. The zucchini and cucumbers are growing too. And the garlic is just taking off. We have had a good amount of rain and cooler than normal temperatures, which have helped everything get off to a good start. You can see part of the garden in the background below.
For more wonderful looking gardens check out the Tuesday Garden Party at An Oregon Cottage.
What a helpful garden helper you have! You both did a fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteyumm, strawberries!
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to helpers! Our little helper actually ate way more dewberries than she picked, so we had to ban her from picking.
Aww! I have a little garden helper too. Actually two, but the younger one is not much of a helper but more of a digger :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that she likes to help you! No matter what I tried, neither of mine LIKE to do it, though they will if I ask. :-) Cherish it!
