French Dip Sandwiches
There's nothing better than coming home from a late winter/ early spring lacrosse practice to a delicious hot meal in the crockpot. These French Dip Sandwiches appear many times on our menu during winter/spring sports season. Everytime chuck roasts are on sale, I pick up two. One to make these sandwiches immediately and one for the freezer so we can have these before chuck roasts go on sale again.
French Dip Sandwiches
1 3 - 4 pound chuck roast
1/2 package Lipton French Onion Soup Mix
1 T yellow mustard
Put chuck roast in slow cooker. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. Squirt mustard on top of roast. Cook on LOW for 8 hours. Shred meat and let cook for another hour. Top with provolone cheese and serve on your favorite sandwich rolls.

This does sound good, and a good choice for Superbowl Sunday lunch. I am a Southern blogger, and am following you via email! Patsy
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny-
ReplyDeleteThis sandwich looks delish for every day or a Super Bowl party as Patsy mentioned. I really like seeing "man food" recipes sometimes. Obviously I know women will like sandwiches like this too, but in my family it would be preferred more by the men. I think sometimes in blogging, we tend to focus on the stuff women like better, so it's nice to see something that the men in my family would like too.
Thank you for linking up to the Your Cozy Home Party, and I hope you will come back again next week!
Mmm, sounds good! I'm bookmarking it to try, thanks!
